This course aims to enhance productivity and collaboration among UP Manila employees by using online or Internet-based applications, particularly the free Google Apps.
At the end of the training, the participants shall have been able to maximize use of Google Apps in the following respects:
Files management and sharing
Managing online calendar
Advanced use of email
Helping other colleagues make use of Google Apps
This training is particularly for the University staff who need to use existing computing resources to the maximum for their work productivity. One of these resources is the Microsoft 365 cloud service, the subscription to which is managed by the UP System.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the 9 hours of training, the participants will be able to do the following:
- Differentiate Google Workspace from Microsoft 365
- Use various features of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as other Microsoft 365 applications, that are useful for office productivity
- Use OneDrive and SharePoint as alternative cloud services for electronic files management
